'Don't Request Don't Tell' sets release
Coinciding using the Sept. 20 repeal from the U.S. military's "don't request, don't tell" policy, SnagFilms has acquired a movie of the identical title and it is delivering the very first of their 11 sections online today. "Don't Request Don't Tell" adjusts Marc Wolf's Obie-winning one-guy Off Broadway show "Another American: Asking and Telling." Within the film, Wolf reenacts, in first-person perspective, interviews and anecdotes from 18 people on sides from the problem. Tales from soldiers, veterans, military family people and Charles Moskos, creator from the policy, are incorporated. SnagFilms intends to distribute "Don't Request Don't Tell" through several platforms. The very first of 11 sections continues to be launched on Snagfilms.com, using the others moving out over the SnagFilms network. The film may also be launched on Hulu and Hulu Plusand online through Rogers Media in Canada. The feature-length version is going to be available at the time from the repeal, Sept. 20, through Comcast Xfinity When Needed and FIOS TV When Needed. Right after that, "Don't Request Don't Tell" is going to be available through electronic sell-through partners. The film, directed by John C. Walsh, was created by Vuguru and Daryl Roth.
