Jason Segel's 'Goonies' Adventure? 'Muppets' Star Plans Next Project

Because Jason Segel did not get a good enough nostalgia fix from dealing with Kermit and Miss Piggy in 'The Muppets,' the star and film writer is wishing never to say die about his next film. Sorta. Within an interview using the Playlist, Segel says the next scripted project might be a kids adventure like 'The Goonies' or 'Labyrinth.' "I really got back to possession my first script I ever offered after i was 21-years-old," Segel stated when requested about his future plans. "It sitting on the shelf plus they did not realize that it had been exactly the same Jason Segel. I found them since the contract was up and that i visited purchase it up plus they were really like, 'No, wait, which was you? Which was your script?' And That I was like, 'Yep, sorry dudes.' And So I now purchased it and I wish to allow it to be. It is a kids adventure movie within the type of 'Goonies' or 'Labyrinth' or something like that like this. I believe this is the next large factor Let me attempt to tackle." Not sure yet on any concrete particulars, but Segel did demonstrate that the script includes puppets from the non-Muppet variety. The 'Muppets' star has 'Five-Year Engagement' arriving 2012, in addition to a cameo appearance in Judd Apatow's spiritual non-follow up to 'Knocked Up.' He seemed to be rumored as with discussions for that lead in 'Sex Tape.' [via Indiewire/The Playlist] [Photo: Disney] Follow Moviefone on Twitter Like Moviefone on Facebook RELATED
